A GUIDE TO NYC // Fashion Week Edition
Now that the mad rush of New York Fashion Week is over, I wanted to give you guys a little recap of some of my favorite places I ate, shopped and stayed during my time here (and in my years of traveling to NYC!) There are so many things I love about this city, but planning out the perfect places to visit while in NYC will only enhance your trip.
One of my favorite things about visiting New York is being able to enjoy a long meal with friends. Some of my favorite places to eat are Estela, Uncle Boons for thai food, Two Hands for a quick bite, Black Tail for amazing cocktails and cuban food, Le Cou Cou for brunch, and Mimi for small french inspired dishes.
This trip I didnt have much time to shop, but browsing a few favorite stores during some down time is always a necessity. For home decor my go-tos are Matter and BDDW. For clothing I always love browsing the beautiful Totokaelo store and picking up a few goodies from Rachel Comey. I always leave feeling inspired and refreshed!
Where you stay during NYFW is an essential piece of the experience, and I was lucky enough to partner with Hotel Tonight to book my stay in New York. Using their app to book a hotel was a truly seamless experience, and I had plenty of hotels to choose from. I typically stick to hotels labeled in their “Hip” section. Usually those are the hotels that I know and can trust and that I know will be my aesthetic. My favorite hotels to stay at are 11 Howard, Ludlow, The Bowery, and The Standard. This trip I stayed at the Sixty. It was clean modern and I had more then enough space to spread out. What are some of your favorite NYC spots?
