Another season of NYFW come and gone in a blur. Its one of my favorite times of the year, and I love getting the chance to be a bit more creative with my style. So before I jet off to Paris to attend a few shows there, I wanted to put together a New York Fashion Week Recap plus a guide to my looks from my time in New York.

While in New York I had the chance to stay at the ever lovely James Hotel (I stayed at both the Nomad and Soho locations). I loved the chance to get to stay at both locations and settle into two different neighborhoods in NYC! But the Nomad area will always hold a special place in my heart, because when I first lived in NYC (back in 2009-yikes!) I spent much of my time in that area. The above pictures were taken at the beautiful Soho location where I would enjoy coffee on the rooftop every morning.

My first look of NYFW is this head to two cream look from Creatures of Comfort. I styled this quick before their gorgeous show. This look is honestly one of my very favorites. I felt so comfortable in this, and 100% myself! Get the pants here and the top here!

Look 2 was one of those looks were I got to have a little fun. A vintage Chanel jacket paired with vintage denim and a beautiful Chloe Faye backpack and heels.

This is another look that I felt insanely comfortable in. My favorite vintage tshirt, paired with my new favorite skirt and a pop of color with this insanely cool Mansur Gavriel bag.

Its very common during NYFW to pull clothing from your favorite brands to borrow and wear to you various events and dinners. And while it can be a ton of fun to have the closet of your dreams, sometimes I find myself needing to take breaks and go back to the basics of pieces I own and love. This outfit is exactly that. Composed of pieces that I have purchased this last year and that I am obsessed with.

Last but not least is this gorgeous head to toe look from Chloe. While I wouldn’t consider myself a very feminine dresser, is so fun to do it every once and a while. Im also obsessed with their new Pixie bag- its such a unique and gorgeous piece!
