As most of you know, and if you follow along on Instagram, that last month I had the opportunity to work with Visit Great Britain and experience London through their eyes. While this wasn’t my first time in London, it certainly was a memorable trip! With their help, I’ve put together a recap of my time there and hope it inspires you to take your next trip to London!

I was lucky enough to fly with Virgin Atlantic. Their lounge was the most luxurious I have ever been in. Honestly, my entire time traveling with them was a complete dream.  Once I landed I was whisked off the plane by Heathrow VIP to a private lounge, where I was offered a full menu and beverage of my choice. No waiting in the long customs line for me!

I stayed at the Berkley Hotel, which was beyond gorgeous and got to attend afternoon teas in their beautiful dining hall. Not to mention the rooms were to die for.

We ate at multiple places but for me, a highlight was eating at Sketch for my very first time. It’s worth eating there just to see the beautiful pink room in person. If I could live in this room, I just might.

Another eating related highlight was our night spent dining at City Social and getting dressed in Halfpenny London for the evening.

I loved meeting Kate (the designer at Halfpenny) and working alongside her to style my look for the night. She was a complete gem.

One afternoon we took a London City tour in vintage mini coopers, thanks to Small Car Big City. I have never been a huge city tour gal, and the thought of doing ‘touristy’ things makes me run the opposite direction. But throw a vintage car in the picture and we have a deal.

We were able to visit a few amazing places, but the highlight was my time in the countryside at EJ Churchill / West Wycombe Estate.  I had never been in the Englands famous countryside, and it really did end up taking my breath away.

All in all, London has completely stolen my heart, once again. Thank you to Visit Great Britain for hosting me!
